I want to do something different with my hair...

I really wasn't sure where to put this at...so mods feel free to move to the appropriate forum.

As of late my hair is just blah. I want to do something new and different. Usually I wear it up in a ponytail. Though the past few days I have worn it down. I have falls, but I have a hard time putting my hair in pigtails and putting them on by myself. I would like to add different colors into my hair, but I can't due to work. Like I would love to dye my hair to a midnight blue. Right now its black.

My hair is naturally poofy/curly. In the pictures I had just straightened my hair.

I can imagine you with kind of an a-line bob type of thing.
It'd be a bit longer (so that you can still wear falls) and a little bit of a wave.
Maybe a fringe or bang, too.
Or maybe that's just me.
Just a suggestion, though. ^^;

Hope you find a good recommendation or discovery and that your new hair ideas turn out super.

Well mine is curly/poofy and my hubby cut into an a-line bob.
It worked really well with curly hair. So yes, I'd agree with :713705:

An a-line would be gorgeous, especially with a fringe. Also if you cut it shorter and maybe add layers you'll automatically be creating volume and you'll find it so much easier to style. When it's long and just 'hanging' there is difficult to do much with it!

Also, if you cut it shorter you could experiment with your curls - you could straighten them or you could accentuate them for some completely different looks

I think you should go for an a-line with a cropped messy back, then bleach out two strips at the front and do them blue, keeping the rest black. That way you can hide the streaks under a hair band for work, but still have colour! =D
