Post by xalternmommyx » Sat Sep 18, 2010 1:07 am

i backcombed the heck outta this but gosh is this color a pain! lol but once i did that i gave it some pokes and tugs with a crotching needle.

It looks like you are getting the idea, you just need to practice.

The best way to describe it is that, when doing a cornrow or french braid, you pick up hair to add in at every point, right? With crocheting, you must do the same; gather loose hair at each point and kind of rough it between you thumb and forefinger before pulling it into the dread with the hook. Moving down the dread, you will repeat the process, adding in loose hair from that part and pulling it through.

Man that probably makes it even more confusing! Perhaps i need to work out a way of maing an easy to understand tutorial!
What, that? It's a spade.

Maybe you can let someone film you when you do the proces? As some kind of tutorial :)

That's the only way I see it working Yuddith; photos would be almost as confusing as my descriptions.

Apologies for that xalternmommyx

Just feel sorry for the poor woman who asked me about section sizes for braids and got a detailed description of the mechanics of camels' feet.

Actual feet belonging to camels, I might add, and not that unfortunate and unsightly wardrobe malfunction caused by wearing your pants too high.

Just to be (un)clear :P
