They look good but they're more candycaned than splashed. Try using small scraps of hair and more random placement and see how that looks

ah! i didn't think of using smaller splashes.. i dunno why i didn't think of that. i've always been a bit "heavy handed" with my dreads >.>

Agreed, less hair is need for the splashed effect.

i kinda like the chunky splashes, they're different.

i'm gonna try that as soon as i get back to these >.< i tend to be heavy handed with my hair.. all my dreads, even small ones (these are my small ones for me) are "chunky" so i guess i was just heavy handed on my splashes :D
