When installing colinette I know I have to cut it on the thin bits, but when braiding it in do I braid on the thin bits to? Or can I braid on the thick as well?
Thanks

Re: Question about installing Colinette
Hi when I braid in Colinette (I take it you mean Point Five) I actually just use the yarn as part of the braid and plait it the length of the hair. I always fold it on the thin part and put that to the root as it makes for a neater and more secure beginning. To put it in using the DE method (braiding the hair around the yarn) I'm not sure it would matter, though I'd probably do it anyway for the overall neatness. You can braid over the thick part of the yarn for sure as its pretty squishy and will make no difference to a taut braid. Hope this helps
What, that? It's a spade.

Re: Question about installing Colinette
I did it like normal DE braiding - folded my wool in half, then plaited down one side

Re: Question about installing Colinette
I've not done an entire Colinette install, but I did the same as DreadstarMonstar. Like WoolHairHabit said, the fold should be at the thin part. I also like to end mine on thick and thin parts for variety at the tips.
