Quick question, I 've looked through this section and couldn't find a thread but sorry if this has been asked before and I missed it.
I bought a Cherry Pink PO wig with the intention of putting some pink dreads I'd ordered onto it as I couldn't die my hair like I'd planned to. I now plan on wearing it out in a couple of weeks before I put the dreads on it. I don't have a great place to store it so it's still in the packaging it came in and basically I want to know...Can I straighten it? It's gone a bit kinky because of how it's stored and it could really do with a straighten. My straighteners do have adjustable temperature so would the coolest setting be ok or would it still be too hot?
Anyone else tried styling their wigs with heat?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to ruin it

Re: Styling PO Wigs
I straightened my PO wig (as it was a little too falsely flicky for my liking) with a hairdryer on a medium setting.
I would suggest starting on the lowest setting and working your way up until it's straightening the hair, but not 'kinking' it, I tried mine on a bit of hair on the underside of the wig firts so if I messed up, no-one could tell!
Ooh, I forgot to mention, a paddle brush or similar woiuld be best with the hairdryer.
