Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
Me and my dad have just put ours up. It's really easy to do, but I had forgotten how epicly huge it is... It's a 4 man tent which is high enough for me to stand up in (and I'm 5 foot 10!). It's got a porch big enough for 10 people.
God I love my tent. Is that sad?

I might
My mate has just bought a bigger tent that ours Better not be better or I will be displeased! Ours is the tent of envy! (I have been ranting on about this for 2 days now... It may be the start of tent wars!)
And to make you feel even shorter ... I'm normally in my New Rocks which make me 6 foot ish

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
i felt really small just then, but i realised my friend Jan is slightly smaller than me so i dont feel as bad ahahahahaha (this has made me laugh so hard) hahaha
i will have my knee high dr martens on so i'll have a few inches!
our tent is poop so you will hail victorious over ours, it doesnt even have a full top sheet it just has a panel to cover the netted part on the under layer...thats how poop it is.
you should join the tent thread on the Bloodstock forum and battle!!

Do you use the BS forum? You going to that meet up?
I might just go do that ... I always forget about the BS forum
And if Jess's tent is bigger than mine, I will come and gloat around your tent to make me feel better
Anyone else seen the stage times? I've made a pretty little page out of them, complete with Thor's hammer decorations. And if your wondering; no, I don't have a life.

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
I was thinking the same thing.
I just thought piccy's might be a good idea in case they never release an official site map as there has never been one before. Then if we can't think of somewhere to arrange to meet up, we can just keep an eye out for each other?

i mean the one place where people seem to be meeting up is a the bloodstock arms so we could arrange to meet there. i have posted in the ask the organisers thread about a map but no reply.

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
I won't have dreads unfortunately! For the first time ever at a festival, arrgh!
Would still be good to meet up at some point, but yeah I won't be around until Friday.
I can post a pic if it will help! Ermmm, I'm blonde, have quite a lot of ink and will be carrying a viking horn, which doesn't narrow it down!!!!!

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
No it doesn't!
Well I'm 6foot when I'm in my New Rocks, and I have red hair which will be in dreads (Mixes of green and blue).
What day is best for everyone to meet?
For me the poorest day line up wise is the Friday, and as we have a map we can now choose somewhere to meet up lol

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
well anytime before 3 on a friday is good for me as i want to see all the bands after 3 on the main stage apart from arch enemy which is when i'm popping over to see Malefice.
i mean we can also meet at night in the camps sites if we look out for each other too.
i will most probably have my cowboy hat on purple and black hair, napalm death top or night of the living dead top. and im a larger lady haha

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
Oh! I had no idea there was a BOA thread
I finally got my ticket yesterday. I had to borrow money off my dad to do so, which I HATE, but only because my stupid ass of a previous landlady is finding it really hard to give my deposit back, and I didnt want to miss Bloodstock because of her. I have a budget of £30 to last me over the weekend, and buy my booze and food! EPPPPP!!
But WWAHHOOO! I'm so glad I decided to go.

I wont either, for the first time! I dont have any red ones, and I dont have the money to make/get any I'm going to put my loose extensions in, so I should have long red hair.ShadowThrone wrote:I won't have dreads unfortunately! For the first time ever at a festival, arrgh!
