Blooming 'eck that is expensive!
We need to air our tent out - usually smells pretty bad.
We put the gazebo up last month as we were determined to have a BBQ and it looked like it might rain. Even the gazebo had that post-festival storage smell to it! lol

i bloody love BBQ, need to get a couple for this year too!
i hate the post festival smell, and when you find something you left in from last year isnt good either!
im so glad we have a shiney new tent, and it has a seperate "garage" piece as we call it so you dont have to sit in the tent all the time!

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
oooh! Is it sad that I find new tents exciting? haha
Our tent is mashoooive big enough for my boy to stand upright in it and he is 5ft11. And we have a rather lovely porch bit on the front which when it's raining will accommodate up to 10 people with chairs in it! (It's a bit cosy but possible)
Are you going down on the Thursday or Friday?
I think we're aiming to get there for 2pm on the Thursday.

Golly that's a long drive!
I hope the weather this year is better than the last two - although I have a feeling it wont be. I bought wellies and a waterproof jacket for last years. I learnt from the mistakes of 07...

haha, we have some tesco vouchers saved up might put them to some use!
i found out last year at BOA they clipped your wristband when you came in with a crate to show you have aready been in with one, i hope its not like that this year! and its supposed to be fabric wristbands too so it would be harder to clip, i hope!!

To be fair we had our wrist bands hole punched and we still managed to get in more beer that we were supposed to have.
Didn't know the wrist bands were going to be fabric though! This makes me happy!

I found I could slip my hand out of the old wristbands and keep the wristband intact! Could have snuck someone in if I wanted to :p
And it's pretty easy to sneak in extra booze, especially liquor.
I had the most awesome weekend last year and am hoping for the same this year

Three weeks tomorrow... *excited*
I hope the weather pics up, however I do have a rather snazzy pair of wellies that only seem to get brought out at BOA

Re: Bloodstock Open Air 2009 anyone?
Emsy, have you asked round on the forums if anyone has heard from her? If you say who it is, someone may know why she's not replied. And if they don't, at least she's been named and shamed and wont be able to do it again?
