just a question, how many packs of fuel should i bring for a hexi? i know people at my campsite (friends of OH and such) will be using the poor thing too, how long do the tabs burn for?

I have no clue about that!! My housemate and I have a preliminary plan of taking a loaf of bread each and several cans of beans and spaghetti, should see us through fine
Seeing as this is my first festival tho, Im a bit apprehensive about the whole camping side... Do you get that much trouble at the sites? Obviously Id really like to avoid having my tent burned down!

Hi5 people are funny, same with random drunk huggers.
Last year we had a group of guys asking for our underwear for their flag, anything goes at Download!

^ what she said! make sure that you wear a watch too - and know what time the bands are on that you really want to see. The camping side is great fun, but you're there to see some kickass bands after all

oh, and bring loo roll. plenty of it!

Last time I went in 07 the people in the tents across the road from us decided to have their BBQ in the tent *palm forehead* but ours didn't get burnt down. We had people stop at our little spot and chat with us since it was at the top of the hill and we also had random people coming and bring back one of our mates haha

though lat time i went in 07 some prats trashed our campsite while we were sleeping on the last nite

20 days ladies!

The clock on the Download main page seems to go slower and slower as the days go on!
Last bits of shopping at the weekend and then me and the OH will have everything sorted. I am not going to mention anything about the thing that shall not be mentioned, incase I jinx it.

Mass downloading of albums by bands we have never heard of is happening right now. Seeing if they are any good or not.

Finally managed to get my sleeping bag sent up to me which is good! Im quite looking forward to the journey up there, I have no idea how 5 people, 2 tents and all our stuff are gunna fit in a tiny lil car

Man I wish I knew of anyone selling tickets.. There seem to be too many people who missed out this year Glad I got mine but gutted I wont be meeting everyone I wanted to there...
