Sonisphere 2010
MIIIILLLEEESSS off I'm aware. BUT tickets are on sale now, so I thought I'd get in on the fun!
Sonisphere, 2010. Best band in the world EVAR Iron Maiden are headlining, as well as Rammstein! Confirmed acts also include Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Iggy & the Stooges and Slayer.
So who is going? What are you going to bring? And what hair are you planning?
I'm taking my little sister, taking a 4-man tent, meeting up with some of the guys from the IM Fan Club and I'd love to meet up with my hairy peeps, too.
Work depending, I may also hop on over to the Swedish Soni, just to be there to celebrate Bruce Dickinson's birthday!

Re: Sonisphere 2010
Ace line-up! I will try my best to go although I am hoping to be moving next year.
I managed to win 2 pairs of tickets to this year's festival so hopefully I can do the same next year
If I go will probably be with my mum again, we went to this year's but I was sadly sober throughout due to being on antibiotics
It's only about an hour from where I liv so it would be rude not to go really! I <3 Maiden, and I *really* want to see Rammstein again, their live show is amazing.

Re: Sonisphere 2010
Ohgodohgodohgodohgod I am soooooooo excited about this!!!
*prances around like a right fool*
I'll be there, yet to buy my ticket as I have no freaking money, but I am so up for this it's untrue. Last year was amazing and it's on my birthday weekend so it'd be totally rude not to! Was VIPing it then as I was feeling a little flush with cash, may do that again this year as the camping is far closer to the arena (2mins walk to tent, get a beer, drink it, wander back save £3.50) and you can have a fire (and park the car) next to your tent (there are designated cooking areas in the regular camping area and they are a little sucky) The toilets are closer too!
I'll be taking way too much stuff as usual - millions of gallons of alcohol, Doritos with a selection of dips, an airbed, a 4 man tent, a massive duvet, a very hairy man and a bunch of good friends.
I have no idea about hair yet as mine will probably change a gazzillion times before then, I had blonde/blue/purple and siver last year. 'Twere spiffing. May go for naturals this time, maybe black, haven't had black ones yet!!
I may have to hurl toxic substances at Papa Roach though. I have yet to forgive them for being utter sh**e

Re: Sonisphere 2010
May, may not. Depends heavily on the finances. But I am really considering this as it's a weekend of bands I've not have the priviledge of seeing (a part from the mighty Maiden)

Oh wow, I'd love to go. I even made a 'resolution' to see more live acts and Maiden are well up there on the list of bands I love!

New Information
Rammstein are to be headlining the Main Stage on the Saturday, which means Maiden will be closing the festival on the Sunday.
8 trucks and 200 tonnes of flashy shiny pyros that go boom will be set up on the Friday. Rammstein need their stage to be fully customised specifically for their performance, hence why Alice Cooper is headlining the Second Stage in the evening. Hopefully this will lay to rest any rumours of an appearance by Metallica (thank God).
Next announcement is March 1st.

NEW ACTS ANNOUNCED.
Apocalyptica, Gallows, Funeral For A Friend, Madina Lake, Family Force Five, Fightstar... and Skunk Anansie.
Personally aside from Apocalyptica, I'm disappointed.
