Confused...in need of a mod/admin to explain?

Hey,
I've noticed some people now have different usernames, but they aren't new members? How is this possible. I always though your UN stayed as whatever it was originally.
AM I GOING MAD?
Help.

can you link me to peole who have changed?
we NEVER allow people to change their names and only change a name if someone signs up with an obscene or offensive name.
You sure that the people haven't signed up again under a changed name?

Thank you- I have contacted all mods and admin about this- as this should NEVER happen due to feedback and trading protection.

Mystery solved. Doc changed this members name. It is against our rules and it was clearly a misunderstanding, Doc was Pmd directly and is an overseer of the board and not an active member in our back room, hence this was carried out as what must have seemed an easy process- unaware that we had conversations in the back room about how this was not an action we ever wanted to take. It is not the users fault in the slightest. To my knowledge it has never been done before and it will not be done again.
