Suspicious Myspace

Hello,

I got an add from this seller:
www.myspace.com/roguedreads

And I just think it is suspicious because she has pictures of TripleSix, Countess, and Lorelie on there, but no pictures of the dreads she made for them. Not to mention that the ones she is 'making' do not look similar to the ones she has done.

I am sorry if I am falsely accusing, but it just made me wonder... if someone could look into this please that would be great. Thanks.

I know for sure that the Blonde/Black transitionals are from Shadowcraft Design.
The other dreads, other than the last one, are definitely not hers.

Yup, she's a dud. I've reported her page, but the best anyone else can do is inform the people she's stolen from. Is that a pic of Halos' work, too?

Quick update:

She's now added a picture to the 'lovely ladies wearing falls' album which says 'I did NOT make these falls... these pictures are just EXAMPLES of HOW to wear falls! All pictures belong to the lovely ladies in them!'

Her work is extremely newbie-esque too... *Sigh* I mean, the dreads she posted photos of compared to the ones she stole.

You know, maybe that set wasn't Halo's? The mannequin looks different, unless it's just without bangs? (It's late at night, get confirmation on who they belong to then report it).

I personally don't know as I don't recognise any of the photographs but looking at her own work and at the ones in the dread falls album I would say it's doubtful.

I'm fairly sure the blue/black/purple set is shadowcraft, I know I've seen the fourth (pinks and blues) on ebay. The fifth is also Shadowcraft. I know I've seen the second and sixth set somewhere.

They're very similar to some of mine though, one set in particular. My falls are much fuller than those ones so it couldn't even be mine styled on a different head to look like hers. They're def not mine!

There's now a picture up saying that none of the falls shown are hers unless stated, they are examples for colour combinations.

She's still violating copyright legislation even if she's crediting the pictures, as she's reproducing someone else's creation.

Not sure about that, the creation of dreadlocks hasn't been patented or copyrighted, and colour schemes for dreads can't really be copyrighted. While offering someone else's picture for exact reproduction is totally lame (not to mention not asking permission to display these photos or crediting the copyright holders) I don't think she's infringing copyright by merely reproducing the dreads.

I agree, but by creation I meant the pictures, not the dreads. Didn't want to use the word 'pictures' twice in one sentence =p

I am the creator of the myspace page "Rogue Dreads". I am Jessica Loretta.

I apologize from the bottom of my heart to those people whose photos I took off google search and put on my website. I never meant for it to imply that I had made the falls they were wearing. I apologize that it looked that way. I see now that it did and that I was wrong for using them. Especially without permission. I have now removed all the images. The only remaining images are of falls that I have made and of me wearing them.

I do have several pages...one is for personal stuff such as family photos and the other is strictly for my modeling stuff. My friends list is randomized.

I hope I have cleared this up and I will be much more careful in the future. I will only use MY images. Thank you.

Oh ... and the "rogue" came from my favorite Xmen character...I probably should have chosen a different name but that has always been a favorite screen name of mine.
