dunno if any of you other dready ladies suffer with the itchy flakey thing that happens just after install on the hair line? i do its proper annoying!! BUT i have found the ultimate relief and cure...
Badger Balm its amazin!!! also organic and 100% holistic, no additives etc..i find the winter wonderland one the best (i have about 6 diff ones but i think its the camphor in the winter wonderland that provides a cooling feeling) also its fine if a little gets on wool/synthetics although i try and wipe it off if loads goes on,
keeps the skin clear from the dry flakeyness and stops the itchy feeling, also doesnt leave a residue,
annnyways thought i would share my lucky find
what do you use to cure this problem (if you suffer with it?) any other lucky finds?

Re: New Install Itch!
I use some stuff called Better Braids spray which is medicated with salicylic acid to calm down the itching. I bought a big bottle about 6 years ago when I first started wearing dreads, and I'm still only halfway down it, so a little goes a long way
