Not happy My head is all fuzzy looking! The dreads are all fuzzy and unravelling (to be expected for Elysee stars i guess) and where they are attached my hair is starting to go fuzzy. Is there anything i can do to make the top of my head less fuzzy?
I am NOT amused
Oh, and does anyone know if you can fix the Elysee by either washing machine on hot, or trying to back comb? Its really doing my head in atm! Ive got some Rovings on order from Cherry bomb dreads which i cant wait to get on, but i need to do something in the meantime as they are doing my head in!!!

Re: Fuzzy head and fuzzy dreads
Yes-elysee stars will unravel and become fuzzy. The only thing you can do with them is unravel them, backcomb them and then seal them yourself-but personally I dont see the point-you might as well have made your own dreads from scratch if you're going to do all that. As for the fuzzy head thing-its probably the install. As Im not very good at self installing, I always have fuzzy hairs all around my head because I cant neatly braid them all onto the dread. Perhaps with your install a few fuzzies didnt get braided in properly-or-more likely-they are just coming out because the elysees are loosening?

For the fuzzy halo from the braiding, you may want to find a tutorial for blanket-stitch braiding. It's a bit tricky at first but it's easy once you crack it and it pretty much wipes out the fuzzies.
What, that? It's a spade.
