But since I rarely wear wigs and ALWAYS have trouble with them I'm going to ask anyway... how does one wear a wig with wig clips attached if you're also wearing a wig cap? It's just not making sense to me, and I can't keep these suckers on my head.

If you use the fishnet kind instead of the thick nylon ones, you can fit the teeth from the wig clips through the holes in the cap.

Although if it's a stocking-y one and you're not wearing a it for hygeine purposes (i.e. it's your wig and you won't be selling it), pull the cap back a little so a bit of your own hair shows, for the clips to grab onto. That's what I used to do.
