Quick question - what is the purpose of letting the dry first? Just wondering if there is a technical reason they need to be dry before refelting again. Thanks

Er....wool can rot if it's wet too long. It may have something to do with getting the fibres to felt together.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it, I've washed then rewashed dreads before with no* major incidents.

Ahhhhh, okay I understand now. I know that sometimes something has to be done in specific steps or it won't work properly so i figured I would ask. Thanks so much for the reply!

I know this is an old thread, but I've been looking a alot of wool dreads lately, as apart from ones I played around with when I was younger (generally wrapped around my real hair) I have never had a set. So I have been searching through loads of posts and tuts. But just had to say how much I totally love this set. Such fine work DSM and they make me drool, I am in utter ore! ScarletLady they totally suited you and you are a lucky girl :D

Deleted from their original storage space. However, I remade them & they now live on DH website: http://www.diversityhair.co.uk/kb_merino.php

She's had a few server issues though recently, so they may show & then may not etc.
