I need to try boxbraiding because regular three ways slip out of my hair every time. Thanks for reposting the links!

Have just got my friend to boxbriad my new dreads in.. they are so tight to my head, it is good but they are pulling so much that I am getting the little red irritation patches, and they are a bugger to sleep on right now, but give it a week or so and I will be loving them..

its sad that thats the only braid I can actually do well other then the normal 3 strand braid.
I love the box braid but dang it'll take so much hair to do a whole head, or even just falls.

I agree but it's such a full braid and just has a great look ^^

I would love a set of boxbraided falls <3

how many box braids do you think I would need to make? Would they be SE's or DE's I made a DE box braid to practice and one side was awesome and the other side came out thinner and crappy. If I ever perfect my boxbraid I'll let ya know. lol

This is totally my own opinion for what I would wear....

For a set of falls I would say at least 20 DE's per fall up to about 40-50 DE's.

I would love to see what you create :i12:

I have some KK lying around I may try my hand at boxbraiding when I have the time ^^

I love making box braid dreads. I almost always put a couple in each set I make. They just stick out a little bit more and I love the way they look!

Boxbraids look like it's well worth the effort!
