hmm, yeah, thinking about it, it's exactly the same as a regular braid in terms of the order you cross things over, you just keep it to the side..

I put the "twist" on both sides, and you put it on one side.
Your way looks much simpler :)

Jane does awesome roving :P
Love you Jane xD
You'll be surprised how many sellers there are out there, but good on you for giving it a go ^_^

Oh yes, and I still swear by Shifuku's install method. Triangle sectioning ftw.
But guys can get away with simple squares.

Lizzie best way to practise is on someone elses hair :) I can only just do it on my own; but do it better in others hair ^_^

i practised on a wig & the ndid it in my own hair....i'm alot neater with roving.

Lara - if i had some help, i'd probably go for triangles too, but stuck to brickwork as i self install.

Triangles just work better! Better coverage.
Wish mum could do sectioning for me. Poor woman is blind as a bat, even in good light and with glasses argh!

thanks for this. I might have to force my husband to watch this *clockwork style* to get it ingrained into his head so he can install some falls into my head. I don't think I could do it to myself I have long thick hair. I need one of those mannequin heads with hair so i can practice...
