Greetings and Salutations!

On one of my many adventures to Walmart , I came across a Koller Craft Fillet Board? (See below).

I use this with and without a plastic shower curtain ring. I can sit and dread hair or lay it flat on a table to seal the dreads with a steamer. (See below).

Either way it makes my dreading life so much easier that I had to share my discovery with you all.

Happy Dreading!

Ooo! That's a good idea! How much did it cost?

I got mine for less than ten dollars. ($6.99 plus sales tax). It is worth every penny, because 1) the tool is lightweight, which allows me not to be confined to one area, 2) I have a small place, no work room, and easy to put away when company comes over, and 3) It is perfect for other craft projects, for example like macrame.

I wish you all could of seen the cashiers face when I told her I was making dreadlock extensions with a fillet board when she asked me if I fished. LOL! It looked like this --->

Haha! That is quite amusing... I actually just shut my dreads in my desk door... but I've said this before and people just don't understand I don't think..

This is a really nice tool. No fuss no muss. I still use a nail in my desk though. ;)

I think I might go get this! I have been to start using my steamer more often and this looks like a good mounting setting for steaming

I use a small vise that has a suction base and swivel head that I bought at Harbor Freight Tools. I love it to bits...have 2 actually!
