Microring or shrinkies?Where to buy short bright human hair?
Well I'm getting some streaks for my hair but I was wondering 2 things
First what do people prefer to use on themselves/customers?
Microrings or shrinkies? and why?
Secondly can anyone recommend a place that sell's shorter than 18inch human hair in bright colours? I can only find 18" hair
Thank you :):)

Yes but that just seems like a terrible waste cutting it from 18" to just over 10"

ikickshins does quite a few colours of weft in 10-12".. you could always make clip-ins, or I think you can attach weft using microrings.. not sure though.

True but I'd rather use stick tipped hair for what I want to do

You can tip it youself if you have the time, isn't not very hard.
I know I saw a picture tutorial out there for it (it's how I learned in the first place) but next time I do some, I'll make one up.
Basically you can use liquid gold or latex glue (I used latex) and all you need is a big piece of plastic or something the glue won't stick to very easily.
Okay, so what you do it lay your surface out, then go along and dot a little glob of glue in a line, then cut little bunches off your weft and law it down in the dot of glue. Give it a few minutes to set up, then peel the glue off and roll it between your fingers to give it a nice tip. Then just let it dry the rest of the way! I did these a few times, and it only took me a few hours of tv watching to do enough for a full head. I tend to do them about 20 or 30 at a a time- as soon as I've finished laying down the last ones, the first ones are tacky enough to roll.
I think with liquid gold you may be able to skip the glob/setting part and apply it directly to the hair, but I haven't tried it yet.
Takes some practice to get nice uniform ends and to know just how much glue to use, and you have to make sure the tips aren't too thick to fit through your microlinks.
