Hi all,
I apologise if this is a silly question but I need to ask it, otherwise I will never know.
I'm embarking on a SS install for a friend at the weekend, we decided pinchbraiding was the best idea as she doesn't like the idea of shrinkies or micro rings. I've just spoken to her other half who used to have braids & his were secured with thread. My question is can I use normal, everyday sewing thread? Or do I need something specific?
I read somewhere upholsterers thread is supposed to be used.

Re: Thread for pinchbraids??
Just make sure the thread is thick, usually upholstery thread is thick!
