new human hair extensions bumpy above the bond

Post by kallisi » Mon Aug 22, 2011 3:30 am

Hi,

just got my first new human hair extensions about a week ago. On the top of my head my hair is bumpy above the bonds. Is this normal or can this be fixed? I just noticed this today.

I have cinderella hair extensions BTW.

Are they put in with a fusion style glue?

They are bonded in with glue that was heated up and bonded to a few strands of my hair.

You may be able to reheat the bond and have them rerolled.

From my training, the reason lumps and bumps occur is that the resin/glue hasn't been rolled around the bond/hair properly, which can leave loops/bumps.

The other reason may be because they have rolled too close to your scalp, or at an awkward angle which causes the bond to stick out.

You may need to contact the hairdresser that completed the installation and have them removed/reinstalled, and if they have been applied incorrectly, I'm sure you could ask for the removal/installation at no additional cost.

I hope that helps! :)
