Bleaching weft?

Post by Zeddread » Mon Sep 15, 2008 3:27 pm

Ok, so I'm in desperate need of some loose extensions, cos my real hair is really getting me down at the moment. I've decided to go for human hair weft first, because of the price really, and the fact that I only have myself to install it at the moment, but with the ultimate goal of eventually turning the weft into pretipped hair for better styling...

My question really is, about dying and extensions. I'm going to buy blonde weft and dye it red so the colour is a good a match as possible, but when it comes to changing my hair colour again, how easy, or even possible, is it to be able to bleach and re-dye extensions? Or do you have to buy more weft each time? :?

bleaching hh weft can be tricky as it's already been processed a lot so most won't be able to take more than one bleaching, if one at all. you need be very careful. it's easier just to buy something like 613 that's already a really light blonde and dye over it.
