Hello for all you ladies who make wrappy dreads - I just made my first set of wrappys and installed them yesterday, and overall I'm quiet pleased with them, but my only issue is when installing, I guess I was a little rough with a couple of the dreads and the piece of hair I used to wrap slipped down the dread. It only happened with two of the dreads in a whole head, so was I just too rough while installing? I really have no patience for installs (this is my first in two years) so that might have been it....but I just wanted to know if maybe it was an issue with construction - not wrapping tight enough or whathaveyou. I know they are sufficiently sealed, because I seal twice with a powerful steamer and once with boiling water. Does anyone else have this issue? The rest of the dreads are fine, even after being slept on....
On the upside, I love how soft and comfy they are and they look awesome - people on the street keep complimenting me. Pics in showoff soon!
