Rubberbands?

Post by Dreaddictedcreations » Wed Aug 22, 2012 3:11 pm

I know i've seen people asking this before... But what rubberbands for istalling dreads are the best? at a low price and preferably available online since i live in Sweden. I've been using ''horsemane'' rubberbands since i started making dreads 3-4 years ago but i've noticed that especially the black ones nowdays are lower quality and many of them snaps already in the first week of wearing. Any advice? :)

Totally agree with Proclaim Professional Braiding Rubber Bands!!!

ALWAYS ordering from America for these as the UK will not send to Norway.

I read a review of the Proclaim Professional Braiding Rubber Bands (clear) online and the person was saying these simply weren't made the way they used to be - do you guys have experience using the clear ones recently? What has your experience been?

I always use Goody brand clear hair bands. They're snag free and will stretch without breaking.

I just did an install with the proclaim professional braiding bands a couple of days ago, and they are snapping all over the place! They're horrible - I've had to re-install 5 dreads today. One of them was only in for a couple of hours before I heard the band snap again (happens to be a dread close to my ear). I'm going to pick up some clear Goody bands tomorrow.

I've always used small black rubberbands, but I havn't had any trouble with them though.
I havn't tried any other type, so I dont really know :/
