All Boiled up...

Post by A_Fabey » Sat Nov 26, 2011 10:47 pm

I tried to use the method of boiling water to seal my dreads...usually i try the hot iron method. the boiling method is sooo much quicker! but i feel like they arent holding as tightly as i want them to. what gives? any expertise in the boiling method? or tutorials? :i2:

Boiling does make softer dreads than steam or iron.

Are you doing natural or twisted? We do have tutorials for both.

If you are doing the twist ones, you will need to make sure you are holding it until it cools, or it won't stay in shape :)
