The jazzy looks alot darker and less orange.
I like the 4th on starting from the left! What is the name of that shade (I take that it is from Jazzy).

Cheers :i9:

I think Plastikhaar is the only answer to that.

Deep cherry is good too, but it only comes in silky straight. I've been trying to get it made as jumbo braid but so far no luck :(

if anyone is wondering, the new "Deep Purple" from Buyhair is almost the same as Afrocare's Neon Purple, very vibrant though i'm not sure if this is UV reactive as well.

Does anyone have any better photos of the following shades of red Doctored Locks has?

27 - Strawberry Blonde

30 -Light Auburn

130 - Bright Auburn

Also, does anyone know how many packs of hair I would need to get a full head of SE's down to mid-ribcage .. or should I try DE's .. I've never made them before.

Natural colours are consistant between brands, so pop over to I Kick Shins or something to take a look at her colour chart.

I would guess it's a blend of blue and black.

Hey guys, excuse me if this question sounds silly, but how come BuyHair's synthetic hair always looks 'shiny' (made obvious when the camera is set on 'flash' mode) ?

Does it make a difference when making dreads out of them? Does it make it better/worse texture? (I personally dont like the look of it when its shiny lol) :?:

alot of buyhair kk IS shiny, and annoyingly so. a good spin in the washing machine minimizes this though

If you are mixing matte and shiny texture, the shiny REALLY stands out. I think it looks awful. You could maybe get away with black matte and the rest of the colors shiny but at least at first, they look very different. I think either looks fine when they're not mixed (either all matte or all shiny), but just be aware of that if you are wanting the buyhair for just one color.

The dark blue is a blend I made from the normal blue and black, it was about 40% black 60% blue and slightly marbled.

If you look at page four of that thread that was mentioned, I have posted some pics with different pinks and reds.
Disco pink is a pretty medium raspberry color, maybe a tad pinker than a raspberry. Watermelon has a little bit of neon violet (I think? don't have it in front of me) mixed with the disco pink, so it's kind of a watermelon candy color. Neither are orangey.

Shiny hair IS very annoying to work with, I find it's harder to get it to knot up nicely and evenly and I have to blend a shiny color and matte color to get a proper blonde color, the shiny one NEVER wants to behave and I end up either backcombing the matte one waaay too much or the shiny one waay too little -_- very annoying.

I have to try the washing machine thingy, how do you avoid all the loose hair tangeling together?

Nono, don't put loose hair into washing machine. Put the finished dreads there. :)

Can someone figure out what blues these are? I obtained some unpackaged Plastikhaar back in the day yet I don't know which ones they were. I know, however, the greenier blue is... Aqua. There's two different PH blues in this set.

Also the pink. Kaminoke gave me the bag, and it was from PAK. Though I don't know the brand or the colour. Anyone know?
