Tutorial for blunt ended dreads needed

I am looking for a blunt ended dread tutorial since a friend of mine wants to commission me for a dread wig for a costume that he wants to put together for a future convention. He wants to go as the one of the albinos from Matrix 2. He asked if I could possibly made a blunt ended dreads similar to this photo.

He asked if I could make a sample dread or two with blunt ends and two with the usual taper. For the life of me I can't think of how to make well rounded blunt ends so perhaps someone would be kind enough to help me with the problem.

I made blunt ends once, where a guy wanted to have his dreadextensions cut shorter.
I just used my braid sealer to melt the end of the dread, and it came out nice and round.
