Awesome ^^ I'll get started as soon as I get the materials. I'll make the cloth and vinyl ones, one with and without a filter in front, A steam punk styled one and also a latex/plastic bio one. I think I might give goggles and monacles a go to. Let me know if theres anything specific you guys want so I can work it out ^^

killed my phone where the pics were  , will quickly do another one tonight lol

edit: later in the day....
i will first mention that the only piece of foam i could find was orange, thus the mask looking like part of an american football is a mtter of necessity rather than choice:
the way i made the pattern was basically by folding the foam in half, then along this fold marking roughly how long from my nose (covered) to my chin, i made a little mark there, the with half the foam i measured how wide i would need that part of the mask to be and drew a line down, then matched this line on the other side of the foam
taking the bottom of the middle line to be where my chin goes, i drew a line from here to meet the line at the side, at roughly the curve of my jaw, lean the foam against your face to help, match this on the other side, then do the same from the top mark or line to the side line
to get the top edge of your mask
Image
that should give you the shape, cut this out as a single piece, don't cut down the centre yet, hold the piece up to your face and make any adjustments, then mark where your 'stitches' will go down the middle, poke the holes then cut down the middle, if you have access to a paper cutter this will make it good and accurate...
sew the two pieces to each other using rexlace or scoobie cord, put the knot at the bottom by your chin not up on your nose, you can glue an extra bit of foam down the back for support but wait for it to dry...also superglue will not work
Image
trim the top and bottom edges after stitching to make them more even/ softer/ patterned, add ribbons/elastics to the corners and voila, a basic mask as seen here...

please bear in mind that my foam head has no chin so it kind of does a bandana thing it would not do on a normal face...also i got bored and stuch loads of earrings through that foam....that's why it is so damaged...

Hhmm, I might have to try this later. The only thing I don't like about these masks is they usually end up really pointed, I'll have to have a play around later.

if you mean around the chin and nose, once its stitched its easy to just lay it flay and cut the top and bottom into a friendlier curve

I meant around the chin but I've made my own rubbishy version and I found if I tighten the straps it sits better on my face.
