Sanding boot scuffs?

Post by Ice_Pick_Abortions » Sat Feb 28, 2009 11:36 am

I've acquired some boots which have some raised scratches and scuffs on the toes. my OH mentioned something about being able to sand scuffs like that back then polish over. it hasn't broken the leather fully but he doesn't know the ins and outs. has anyone tried this or have any other tips for minimising scratches and scuffs?

i think he suggested it cos they're raised so just polish over them might not camouflage them enough by itself
