Reccomend me some MAC products
Everytime I go to a MAC counter I never know what to buy because I don't want to waste money on something I will never wear. Can anyone reccmmend me a brilliant product/shade to try?

eye shadows:
-swimming
-carbon
-I use charcoal brown to fill in my brows, so your brow colored shadow!
-beauty marked
-parfait amour
I suggest getting a lot of pigments. I have cornflower and fuchsia, and I've pressed at leasy 6 mac-sized pallettes with both, and I still have plenty left. And they cost $5 more than the eye shadows! Just a great deal.
LIPGLASS!!!! That stuff is AMAZING....
I wouldn't buy mac brushes! when I buy brushes, I either go to ulta/sephora and feel ALL the brushes then decide, or buy off coastal scents(pretty much crown brush brushes, but they sell them at the wholesale price) BUT if you must buy a mac brush, make sure it's versatile(ie: the 231, 272, 227, etc.) Because you don't want to spend $40 on a brush you'll use for one thing.
....I RANT A LOT!!!! Sorry
edit: It'd be easier if we knew what colors you liked and such.

My favorite eyeshadows are Aquadisiac, Stars n Rockets, Carbon, Swimming, Cranberry and Humid... to list a few.
I love fluidlines and paints/paint pots.
My favorite lipsticks are Russian Red, Wild Thing & Goddess (although the last 2 might have been LE).
Like Souopy George said, we need to know what colors you like to be albe to reccomend things though

MAC mascara is awful. It sells so badly that they're actually giving away free mini ones with larger purchases in an attempt to boost sales. Gifts with purchases is virtually unheard of for MAC.
The things I would recommend are:
Foundation - get them to match you and then GO OUTSIDE with a mirror to see it in natural light. I cannot stress this enough. They often match you a shade too dark because they go by the flourescent light.
Studio Finish Concealer
The perfect red lipstick - Russian Red if you're olive toned (with Redd lip liner), Ruby Woo if you're pink toned (with cherry lipliner)
Neutral eyeshadows - perfect with anything you were and makes the perfect smokey eye:
Lid - Satin Taupe, Crease - Mystery, Inner Lid - This is where you can go chocolate brown/copper/amber ...whatever, Highlight - Nylon
The 187 brush. It is invaluable for liquid foundation. I think you can get cheaper versions of it though. It's known as a skunk brush.
Greyprint Technakohl liner - it blends on application and looks great for a quick fix with just a little mascara.

I acutally like their zoomlash. I only have it in mythic blue so maybe it's more the color that I love (it's a really vibrant, electric turquoise) but it really goes on well and doesn't clump or anything. Too bad the color was LE & isn't available anymore
