Okay, I'll kick it off, I hope this question qualifies:

Since I started working at Lush I'm using moisturiser on my hands at least once a day. Why then is the skin around my nails peeling so badly that it's close to bleeding?! It's peeling off in chunks and it's SO sore!! I wear gloves when I'm out so I don't think it's the weather.

does it have lanolin in it? if you are allergic to wool, it could be the lanolin

could be any allergy really, look at the ingredients list (lush is pretty good about their lists) and go from there

Thanks for the replies. I've been using Smitten. Ingredients list:

Chamomile Matricaria Infusion (Chamomilla recutita), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Marigold Infusion (Calendula officinalis), Cold Pressed Organic Flaxseed Oil (Linum usitatissimum), Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Cetearyl Alcohol, Cold Pressed Wheatgerm Oil (Triticum vulgare), Cold Pressed Organic Avocado Oil (Persea gratissima), Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera), Lanolin, Beeswax (Cera alba), Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax benzoin), Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena), Cassie Absolute (Acacia farnesiana), Triethanolamine, *Benzyl Benzoate, Perfume, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

And it does have lanolin but I'm pretty sure I'm okay with wool. I'll switch back to Helping Hands and see how that goes.
