Drawn on eyebrows...
I'm seriously considering shaving my eyebrows so I can draw them on.
Who here draws on their eyebrows, and can give me some advice?
It would be greatly appreciated. <3

Re: Drawn on eyebrows...
I've been doing this for a few years now. Tips would probably depend on how you'd like to draw them on i guess. Personally I use an annabelle liquid liner (one of these).
I usually draw my eyebrows pretty small, but I'm sure a similar product would do just as good a job for longer brows.
You do need a steady hand for drawing eyebrows on. In my case with the smaller brows, I paint a small circle first where i want each brow to start and then paint a tiny 'flick' upward.
If I mess up a bit I just use a piece of slightly wet tissue and my nail to wipe away the small area(s) I made an oops on

There's actually a few discussions about eyebrows. Searching for eyebrows brings up 8 pages.

Oooops, my bad.
Sorry about that, I'm still getting used to the forum, and searching for stuff.
The links you gave me were very helpful, thank you.

Re: Drawn on eyebrows...
i don't recommend this but it is what i do, i have white eyebrows thanks to the wonders of bleach.
any way if i want to draw them on i just use a prick stick to stick them down and then apply foundation on them once the glue has dried then i draw them over my foundation ??
it is a technique drag queens use don't no whether this might help?

Same here, I shaved mine off from 18-25 years old and they won't grow back fully now, I can make them look good by filling them in etc, but it's almost as much hassle as drawing them ontrippytroll wrote:just be warbed if you do shave them if you want to grow them back if can muck them up, my eyebrows ar not the same since ive grown them bal, patchy aswell, just something you might want to consider

I've had them shaved and am now keeping them grown out. It looked cute but it wasn't for me....the effort got really irritating after a few years.

Re: Drawn on eyebrows...
put me in the patchy category. Mine will not grow back properly and I am now a life time drawer. not too much of a hassle unless my pencil runs out in the morning, but i do worry about what happens as i get older, my up close vision starts to go, and my hands get shaky!

Re: Drawn on eyebrows...
Maddii,
I may down the road. For now my friends and family have made me promise no to. They are convinced I will regret it. I had a friend who did it after beating cancer and her real ones never grew back in. They were so natural I never even noticed until she mentioned it to me. She was a bit darker in complexion than I though. I am so fair skinned that I worry they may stand out so much, although they would probably fade over time.

everyone thinks im a little strange for this, but eyebrows always weirded me out. never really knew why. anyway, im thinking about just waxing/shaving my off. and maybe just drawing them on for special occasions or something of the sort.

Re: Drawn on eyebrows...
I used to pluck mine and draw them in, but I had them tattooed on about six years ago, and it's one of the best things (makeup-wise anyway) that I've ever done! The trick is to have them tattooed on quite light and thin so that they look fairly natural if you're not wearing any makeup, but you can thicken and darken them with makeup when you want to for a more dramatic look.
