Urban Decay Primer Potion
Ok so i just found some info online....
The bottle for UDPP is really crappy made and you can go out buying a new UDPP when you dont need too... this is why :-
All the gloop sticks round the outside of the bottle where your little stick cant get to it >_< DOH!
So if you think your UDPP has run out, chop it in half and then get one of those little pots you can get from boots/superdrug and get the rest out.. saves you wasting your £9.50 again when theres LOADS left in there..
Found it online so thought id pass on the info even if you lot already know or have seen the sites

^^ They're in the bath section, with the soap dishes and flannels and stuff.
^ The primer? It's £9.50 in Boots.

That's insane
To begin with, a dog is not mad. you see a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I am mad.

hmm, I actually thought mine was nearly empty, which would have been odd seeing as I've only had it a couple of months.
thanks for this

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
Id imagin you can cut it with either a saw or an EXTRA sharp knife! (with the saw watch out that any little bits of the plastic dont go into you primer otherwise you might hurt your eye lids and i REALLY dont want that!)
Ive never done it myself as this is the first one ive ever used (which i bought on monday) but i was looking to see if there was any bigger ones and came across this info on google!
I dont usually cut my bottles up to get out the dregs but i will from now on and since its £9.50 (and im not being cheap here) Theres no way im gonna use only a small amount of what ive bought Just to throw the bottle still half full away!! The amount left in the side could be just as much as what youve been able to get too already!
Just thought some of you girls could use this! im going to buy a little pot in a couple of weeks you can usualy find them in the bath section of boots/superdrug. I know superdrug were doing some of them for £1.99 for a medium size empty make up pot. But that was a while ago... i cant see them being move £3 myself not even for the LARGE empty make up pots.

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
I've been doing this for years.
I think I mentioned it on the last board...but of course it's gone now!
It's information everyone needs to know!
I couldn't live without my UDPP.

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
You can also take out the little plastic bit at the top of the bottle to get more out if you don't fancy loosing use of the bottle. This gives the brush more room to move.

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
This thread reminded me to check all of my makeup for anymore company gimmicks and tricks.
I wouldn't of ever know how much stuff could still be inside a bottle! *Goes to hack open mascara tubes*

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
Mascara is probably not the best idea, best to throw them away whether used up or not. Plus they dry out almost immediately when in contact with air.Hotmess wrote:

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
However if you pop your mascara bottles in a little bit of hot water it should help loosen any hard dried and you can get more out of your bottle Ive tried it before and it works for me

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
Thats insane how much is left. I hate it when companys try everything they can to get more money out of you!! I was gonna buy some of that primer today im so glad i came across this thread otherwise i would have made the same mistake of thinking it was all gone & thrown it away!
Can you angle the kangle?

Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
this is what i do, although you still can't reach all of the product so i end up hacking the bottle to bits in the endPhoenix wrote:You can also take out the little plastic bit at the top of the bottle to get more out if you don't fancy loosing use of the bottle. Re: Urban Decay Primer Potion
Either way is good... i had a look today and the "stack pots" in boots are about £2.50 for about 6/7 of them in a... yes you guessed it... stack i forgot to look in superdrug as my friend was rushing me around looking for his hair dye >_< i would however imagin their cheaper than the boots ones.
