I'm seriously considering ordering som crazy contact lenses to match my costume as 'storm' from x men, the ones you can use for about a month, but I'd really like some reviews and feedback on them first. I'm looking for english and danish based sites.
- Any special brands that are really good? Ones to avoid?
- I'm especially looking for white/pale blue ones, but not psycho white serial killer ones, pictures of this would be great!!
- I was thinking something like this:
http://www.farvedelinser.dk/product_inf ... a901ac484d
Freshlook radiance moonlight, but I dunno if they'll be bold enough (I have normal blue eyes)
or these: http://www.lensway.dk/product?lensgroup ... ade+linser
Clearly Colors Special Effects, the angelic ones (again, I dunno if they'll work)
Also, the jellyfish ones look really interesting, they're UV reactive but I'd really like to know what they look like in normal light :/ http://www.ioffer.com/i/NEW-Jelly-Fish- ... --16750721

Re: Colored contact lenses (storm x-men)
The freshlook Radiance may be the most comfortable of these to wear, as regular colored contacts are usually a bit thinner than the crazy, opaque ones. I have tried on Freshlooks before, and found them tolerable for the most part. However, how bright it looks and how much of your natural color is covered will depend on your real eyecolor. Light eyes are easier to cover up as oppose to dark eyes. If I remember correctly (it has been a few years) Moonlight is more suited for folks with naturally light eyes. On dark eyes the difference will be minimal.
Fortunately, Freshlook is a pretty common brand, at least it is in the states. If you go to the eye doc, they will more than likely have a trial pair of these so you can see if you like the color. (you will have to book an exam along with, FYI) For some of the more crazy lenses, it has been my experience that most docs do NOT carry these in house and will have to order you a pair. You may be required to purchase them without trying them first.
hope that helps even a little bit!

there's a bit at the bottom of the sale that says they don't change your eye colour in normal light.. now they just need to invent mini uv lights to conceal under your eyebrows so that we can have uber glowy eyes 24/7!!Antikia wrote:Also, the jellyfish ones look really interesting, they're UV reactive but I'd really like to know what they look like in normal light :/ http://www.ioffer.com/i/NEW-Jelly-Fish- ... --16750721

Even if we dont have the same beliefs/ideas, I will respect you. I will offer you common decency. You don't have to impress me, because I'm not here to impress you
