about to dread :D
ok guys, so im abut to dread my boyfriends hair tomorrow. he has realy long thin straight red hair and i decided to do a combnation of backcomming and rip-n-twist method...im not gonna use wax but ive been told to use dread and twist gel, and ive read everything on here about dreads. but, i was wondering if anyone had any tips to gie me or suggestions, they would really help!

There's some really awesome dread "locking powder" I think from dread head hq... let me find the link...

I heard really great things about it, seen it used once and haven't seen the later results yet. Wax sucks for making real dreads - from experience... I wish I had my hands on this stuff back when I had real dreads..

Good luck!! And keep em clean! Oil from your head and scalp can loosen real dreads and they won't tighten as easy!
