Here's my last set. Unfortunately these only lasted a few months as I'm starting hair school soon and didn't want to have to comb them out when they were too knotted!!

Wow, some good looking dreads here! I have an album on facebook that I update with progress every few weeks. Today I dyed mine, probably a bit too early but I'm sure my hair can take it. It's been so strong through all the 'dreadlock' attacks thus far. Pics to follow when the colour is done!

Natwali- your dreads are lovely :)

I'm dreading mine again properly in about 6 months time (Just to allow it to grow some more first). I had some when I was younger but got annoyed with them.
Now I wear dread extensions pretty much all the time anyway, so might as well?

*Sigh* It does mean I'll have to go back to paying attention to my hair every day though...

God I miss my dreads! They'd be so long now
I wish that time would stand still,
if this was part of a film
we would watch the clip all day,
like a portrait of you and I...

They're about 7 months old now. I used to have some really weird and wild dreads before. They where pretty much naturally dreaded. They looked really good until they started curling themselves into "s". And after awhile my hair where half the lenght it was from the beginning. So my mom helped me comb everything out x'S And then i made new ones at http://babayaga.se/

I normally don't think natural dreads look very good on most...
I know...:(
But I have to say, you can really pull them off! You are sooo pretty, especially your skin, it's so beautiful!!

After seeing all these amazing heads of dreads I am completely decided that I will dread my head and am even conning my man into learning to do maintenance on them

A couple of shots of my dreads, which are about 7 years old now. Terrible pics of me; been drinking, no make-up, blah blah...

Taken about a year ago while on holiday:

I actually bought new dye today, a quite bright but more natural red which I plan to do tomorrow.
What, that? It's a spade.

A few lovely comments there, thanks for those ;) Still not at one with this quotation function though  The pic with them red makes me laugh for so many reasons; the red-eye is insane and I'm wearing WHITE (I never wear white!) and I pull a face like something off Wallace and Gromit whenever anyone points a camera at me. Man, I hope I don't smile like that in real life

I dyed them last weekend to a kind of brick-red colour. I like it a lot, it feels a bit more grown up. They need a massive maintenance overhaul before I take any pictures of it though.
