I've Decided To Make Human Hair Dreads & Just Braid Them Into My Hair To See How I Like Them, Soooo..
I Want To Do The Perm Method As It Seems Quick & Easy & I Like The Look Of Them, But Would I Have To Wait Any Certain Amount Of Time To Dye Them After Doing The Perm? I Understand Its Really Bad For Your Hair & All But As It's Only Extensions I'm Willing To Risk It, I Just Don't Want Dye It Straight After If I Know For Sure It'll Be Ruined

Re: Dying Permed Dreads?
I wouldn't advise perming human extensions, as its already so processed it breaks down under bleach. I've tried it a few times using various brands of hair and strengths of lotion and it has never done anything other than turn to stretchy mush.
ON the plus side, the processed nature of human hair extension makes it very easy and effective to dread without perm lotion or any other substance. If you plan to colour the hair, you would get a better result (and use far less dye) if you coloured it before dreading it up.

What, that? It's a spade.
