Dark reds...

I'm currently SFX Nuclear Red, over the top of a faded blue, so it's not as neon as usual. But I'm contemplating going an even darker red.
My brain first hopped to Directions Rubine, or SFX Blood Red, but both dyes are too pink. Obvious solution would be to add an orange-based red (or just an orange), but that's going to make it brighter. Not only that, even Blood Red is lighter than I'm looking for. I toyed with the idea of a "permenant" red dye, but often they are too auburn, I want a RED red. Would mixing Blood Red with something like Hot Lava and adding a dash of a blue to darken it work? If anyone has done something similar, I'd be really intrigued to see!

If you had just a small bit of purple to add to it it should deepen it. Making a cool red. Does this make any sense? lol.
