I recently bleached my hair to a light ginger and put a XXL Red passion onto it and rather than coming out Red it came out Really orange! The dye itself is a orange based dye which didnt make me happy as its menna be a deep red.
I'd like to go to a purple but I dont really know how too go about it now I have the red in my hair.

You could try shifting some of the dye with a clarifying shampoo, or head and shoulders or vosene.
XXL is notoriously difficult to get out, even with bleach!
Whats the end purple you want?
Purple veggie dye can go on quite nicely over orange/yellow hair, providing its a dark purple

Since you've used XXL, you could try lifting some of the red out first with Colour B4, although it doesn't always work on XXL dyes if you use heat styling because XXL dyes contain silicone, which can melt into the hair shaft with heat styling. Might be worth a try though!
