Forum rules
Any show offs - not hair related - go here!

1) You must keep posts PG13.
2) If your pics are likely to be considered a little 'saucy' (sexy / suggestive shots are fine- so long as they are arty!) put NOT WORK SAFE/ NWS in your title.
3) When replying to a post, remember this is NOT the critique section.
4) Comments like " I love your eyes/ my god you are hot" are not helpful! Include them but please comment on the item/s being shown off too!
5) This Show Off section is only for showing off non hair related products, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

weeooo, 10+ hours of work and blisters and glass splinters later, I finally finished my mosaic! Its a little bigger than 1x1 foot. Its waaay brighter and nicer in real life, all I had was my cellphone to take photos, which sucks because today might be the last day I ever see it :/ so I'll never have a good picture. Oh well! Hopefully it'll get sold! :D

before grout, shows the colors a lot better but still not as bright and shiny as in real life

Image

after grout, totally finished! The lighting changed from the first pic and it looks ever duller, but it shows what it looks like finished with all the cracks filled in:

aww thanks  Well it was the first time I worked with glass so I figured it out come out.. not so good, so I was originally gonna be like "HERE MOM I MADE YOU THIS!" But it came out a lot better than I thought so the art instructor is going to try and sell it for me at a fair or something next week :D Which would be great cause I need money for my dog, he's due for his 1 year shots >.<. He's basically like my child, haha.

Julia, that is awesome. I'd totally have that hung up somewhere in my house.

Drew this tonight. Could be better. Will try to do something better tomorrow.

Owie! Tweezers?

I sort of put loads of details in at the top, like the hair and stuff but gave up on the clothes *shrug*

its too far gone, I just noticed it now and its been there since this morning :/ oh well.

I'm horrible at shading with color so that hair alone is about 30000 steps beyond anything I could do. It makes me wanna have that color hair actually :p

:i10: :i10: geez, thanks! If it doesn't sell at that fair or whatever I'll let you know, haha
I'm really fascinated by octopus. They creep me out a bit, but fascinating nonetheless. It was originally going to be a blue ring octopus but I figured I'd make it lightly easier on myself and do a generic green one  I'd lov to see your tattoo once you get it done, it sounds fantastic!
