Any show offs - not hair related - go here!

1) You must keep posts PG13.
2) If your pics are likely to be considered a little 'saucy' (sexy / suggestive shots are fine- so long as they are arty!) put NOT WORK SAFE/ NWS in your title.
3) When replying to a post, remember this is NOT the critique section.
4) Comments like " I love your eyes/ my god you are hot" are not helpful! Include them but please comment on the item/s being shown off too!
5) This Show Off section is only for showing off non hair related products, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

I wish I'd started it earlier than I did. I had some intensive cutting out & sewing days and sewing the binding by hand gave my hand a few aches and pains by the end. I can totally sympathize with you dread makers. Anyway, the result was again not perfect but I love it and I actually impressed my dad (which is a feat). It is so warm and snuggly, the top is a patchwork of different animal print, the bottom is just the giraffe pattern.

:D Thank you.
I can only give you a rough estimate to cost because all the panels on the front were cut offs that I had left over, including the brown silky 2" strips. But the size was roughly 215cm x 180cm and the animal fabric costs £5.95per metre. I bought 4 metres of the giraffe fabric for the back and spent £4.50 on wadding for the middle (from Dunelm Mill). The binding was again, some black soft thickish cotton I have in ready for a dress I am going to get around to making....
It's well worth the time you spend on it, good luck with yours, I definately say go and make one :D
