Crochet Show-off!
Forum rules
Any show offs - not hair related - go here!
1) You must keep posts PG13.
2) If your pics are likely to be considered a little 'saucy' (sexy / suggestive shots are fine- so long as they are arty!) put NOT WORK SAFE/ NWS in your title.
3) When replying to a post, remember this is NOT the critique section.
4) Comments like " I love your eyes/ my god you are hot" are not helpful! Include them but please comment on the item/s being shown off too!
5) This Show Off section is only for showing off non hair related products, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

I also need to stop skipping stiches

Re: Crochet Show-off!
they're great pinky.
I started one square of a pot holder yesterday and i've missed out some colour changes... not sure whether to keep going then go over the bits I missed..kinda crochet on top..or take it out and start again..haha >.<
ETA: can anyone suggest any wool that is 100% wool (or close to) and is less than £4 per 100g?? I'm looking to try out some crochet felting but cant seem to find the right yarn...
I'd also prefer wool that is variagated/different colours
And another edit.. (more ppl need to post on here, lol)
I found this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crochet-Day-Cal ... 095&sr=8-1 whilst looking for a new calender.
Has over 100 patterns. Thought it was pretty nifty

Re: Crochet Show-off!
Its just there's a lot of ends hanging as i'd cut them off when I changed colour on each row...started a new one, lol.
I dont think so.. was trying to find Red heart light and lofty..but I cant find it here and the US sites i've seen it on dont ship here..cant even find anything similar..may just have to use a plainish (smooth) chunky yarn

Thanks had a look. They have reasonable shipping ..tho a lot of their yarns are discontinued :/
Found one that'd work..tho I was hoping to get a multi coloured yarn but its only in solid colours :/ its an option though, thanks

Do you have a boyes near you? They sell 100% merino wool for about £3 per 100g ball.

I can check for a definite price & colours, then send you some if you can't find any elsewhere??? I'm pretty sure there is one colinette that it under £4 a skein, if I find it, I'll let you know.

Re: Crochet Show-off!
I just realised id asked about one type of yarn, then replied to other posts with this other type of yarn im looking for >.< getting myself confused..
looking for :
a variagated 100% wool yarn for felting
and
I was looking for a substitute for Red heart light and lofty..but im thinking I may just make a blanket using yarn with a plainer texture as the fluffy wool may be a bit too babyish :/
Thanks for all the suggestions so far

Re: Crochet Show-off!
The only things I can think of that would be good for felting is Colinette One Zero and Point 5 as they are varigated.
