Post by cherrybombdreads » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:49 pm

If there is one thing I adore maybe more than dreads its CARS!

I just can't get enough of them!

My current baby

Toyota Celica, 2 litre, japanese import, full sports body kit, stainless steel exhaust system, tinted windows, lowered, non standard alloys, low profile tyres, sport steering wheel and a boy racer destoryer.
After a year of owning this bad boy, i feel its time for a change! I will miss it mucho!

The new baby I'm picking up on saturday:
Ford puma, 1.7i 16v with tinted windows. Will have multi spoke alloys, lowered, body kit, engine start button, new spoiler and exhaust system.

My previous cars include;

VW beetle 2 litre
Ford escort 1.6
Ford KA 1.3i
Ford Mondeo 1.8i
Renault clio 1.2
Nissan micra 1.0

ive only been driving 3 years in december! In 3 years time me and the fiance are going to get another sporty toyota or a subaru!

These are my current cars

Roland aka herbie. Hes 28 years old, 1200 engine and drives so slow hes on par with a shopping cart being pushed down a hill lol. I sacrifice coolness over comfort with this one.

Image

Ive got a burgandy corsa which has been in my family since bought new in 2000. I love it to bits, even with the big dint in the door from some idiot who ran into me.

I bet its hell getting insurance on a japanese import. It took me forever to get insurance on my beetle because of it being an import. Specialist insurers wouldnt even consider me cos i was under 25. Luckily tesco came to the rescue lol.

I've had a ridiculous amount of cars

In roughly chological order:

Renault 5 (named Davidian!): Given to me on my 18th, was wriiten off two weeks later when someone ran into meee :(
Mk1 Polo Coupe: Big end blew the wrong side of London coming back from Ozfest.
Mk2 Fiesta 1.1 swapped for...
Mk1 Fiesta XR2, "The Event Horizon" An amazing black machine of greatness (which died)
Mk3 Escort, which I hated and swapped for...
Vauxhall Nova 1.3 heap of dog poo which I sold on.
Misubishi Colt 1.5 which was written off when my FiL drove into the back of it.
Golf 1.6 driver which was a big of a dog and got traded in for a...
Mitsubishi Colt GLX which was ok but ended up breaking.
Peugeot 106 Mardi Gras which was horrible
Vauxhall Nova 1.4 SR which I loved for a while but found something better!
Toyota MR2 G Limited most awesome fantabulous car which needed a bag of sand in the front in order to make it steerable! Had to get rid of due to blooming baby on the way!
Mk3 VW Golf GTi <3 My favourite car to date.
Suzuki SJ, god only knows what I was thinking. It was a tin can.
Suzuki Vitara convertable as I was feeling all girly :S
My bro's Citroen Xantia because the Vitara fell over and killed itself at about 10mph
Honda Civic 1.5 thing which I drive around in atm as I'm skint and my Mummy gave it to me!
My bro's at uni atm and can't use his car, so next month I'll be driving around in a rather sexy y-reg Toyota Celica. This makes me happy :D

Well my car was a piece of crap until recently when I wona local radio comp. Now it's kickass. Heh. They totally did it up and now I've got awesome everything.

Before and after here - http://www.nxfm.com.au/shows/stevekim/wheels/index.php.

It was literally trashed before. Now, it's so good I actually had to clean out the garage so I could use it. heh.

This is my baby .. Image
Just ran outside and snapped that, so apologies that its on the darkest gloomiest day of my life. She's a '99 Mitsubishi Lancer Gli, runs like a dream. My last car was a '90 Toyota Corolla (looked quite similar to Hellcity's car up there.. in the before photos) so when she died I was very excited to get this. Thinking a Nissan 300zx for my next car. I want a sporty looking, red car!
Probably not far off, because in the .. erm, year and a bit Ive had my current baby Ive clocked up nearly 100, 000 kms. :D Im such a rev head.

Guys, I am STILL pinching myself! I have had the crappiest 2 years (mum died, then a month later my husband decided he didn't want to be married anymore - and the resulting fallout from both events) so this was a REALLY amazing thing to happen. I'm going to design thankyou's for all the guys who worked on it and do some marketing stuff for them for free to say thanks :)

Sure was. As evil has hitler was, he made a great car lol. Hitler commisioned it, Ferdinand Porsche made it.

This was my old beetle. This was 37 years old but had to get rid due to lack of time needed to restore it.

And just because I can and i was slightly obsessed

A Volkswagen Golf 1.4 3-series. We have bought this one after our first volkswagen car (Alice) was wrecked in an accident.

the door open light on the dash is now PERMINATELY on annndd its still not running right, so tomorrow its back off to the showroom!

Whynot just make sure its working BEFORE selling it?! then there would be no need for me to rape my 3 month warranty and for him to get pissy every time he hears it's me on the end of the phone!
