New mani:


Cheap "no brand" suede effect polish with added matte top coat.

I was looking for a new matte TC. I love Essie Matte About You. But to get it in the UK is quite expensive, so I trawled ebay & found a "professional" polish for under a fiver. It's very nice, quite a thick creme polish but dries to a smooth finish & for a polish actually smells lovely.

That's gorgeous Sarah, out of curiosity how often do you change your actual nail extensions? Do you change them every time you polish, or do they withstand polish removal and repainting?

I change the polish when I change my nails, unless I'm just adding a top coat then it's the same nails. I've painted over a polish before though.

Why can't I find any nice suede finish polishes in any shops near me. I had some lovely fake nails on Sarah but had to take them off the next day when I realised I couldn't sew with them on
I might try some shorter ones.
Today my mini konad set came in the post o.O my life is over. Just waiting for the French nails set now lol. I also may have invested in gosh 549 the other day it is beyond awesome!
Too much money spent on nails and I still can't find my camera >.<

Previous nails were Models Own black with a Sparkle topcoat that made them blue/purple holo & that was from Superdrug

DSM..how do you buy your falsies and how do you attach them? i was working on growing out my own and all that but now i'm working in healthcare and can't wear even clear gloss topcoat, so i want to get falsies to wear when i go out all fancy. So many of the falsies i've seen are scary long wicked and curved..yours are nothing like that. (of course with my luck it will be a uk only brand or something)

They're "kiss" nails. You get 100 and the glue for about a tenner. I buy "square, sporty" which I think is a posh way of saying short.

I'm actually gonna change to tips once my current nail supply runs out in a bid to try an grow at least part of my own nails.

Has anyone tried thr new opi spotted?
It's like the crackle but an oil over water spot effect.
I finally got some by going in on a group order with some American polish fans as its a Sephora France exclusive
I already want to order more. You can get it on evil bay for £30-£40 per bottle eek but direct much cheaper €15.50 each

Argh Sarah I love pretty & polished! So bummed she has stopp international shipping on her polishes for now though

I have jawbreaker, galax-e, black swan & tuesday taurus from Chelsea, I got the last international shipping from her. Galax-e is the only one I have yet to use, the glitter is quite thick though & the polish is almost jelly sheer.

Before that I did a gradient, using model's own black & light grey.


Some "suede" polish, black & blue - these were AWFUL, I didn't do the infils properly but I fixed them - hence the gradient nails.

Are you into konad and other nail stamping plates?
I got an amazing indie one the other day from Nailz craze. It's better than the konad ones IMO. Loads bigger so actually fits nails. In her first plate there were normal nail sized stamps and ones for longer nails too
