Forum rules
If it is fake hair related it goes in here!
1) Nice clear pic of the hair- we are not particularly interested in cam whoring - you want to show yourself off - put it in the gallery for 'everything else'.
2) When commenting - please be more OT than "wow you are freakin' hot!" We all like to be told we are hot mamma's - but mention the hair too!
3) Please don't be horrified if people give you helpful criticism. If you give criticism, please do so respectfully.
4) If you would like to NOT hear criticism, please say so.
5) If you are specifically looking to refine your technique, please post it in the "Critique" section (under Advice & Know How) so we can help be extra picky. ;)
6) The Show Off section is only for showing off hair, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

Bits and pieces :)

Post by Kaminoke » Sun Jun 24, 2012 3:44 pm

Helloes! I haven't posted anything here in forever, but to be honest, I haven't really posted anything anywhere! I sort of lost all my confidence for a while, and didn't feel like anything I made was good enough. Then I made a custom order that reminded me how much I love what I do, so I dug out some pictures and here they are :)

(Actually, this is around half of what I've done. The other half is trapped on the hard disk of my broken laptop :( )

Image
Image
This is the set that restored my faith in myself :) A rush order in pink, purples, blues and black. I also used a bag of UV purple (the old kind!!!) that I had been saving for years for a special occasion

Image
I wish I had more/better pictures of these, but they're on my broken laptop :( Super full layered falls as long as I could make them (they reach my behind and I'm 5'8") in different thicknesses and textures and some transitionals. I had free reign on the colours, as long as they were foxy!

Image
Image
Long blended blondes in 613, 22, silvery white, white, cream, and a couple of random blondes from IKS.

Image
Image
Pinks with a smidgen of purple.

Image
Good old magenta and black <3

Image
Image
Having a bit of a play... not sure what to do with these :?

Image
Another experiment... although these look really pretty, they're quite rough on the outside. So they sit on my desk until I can do something with them!

Image
These are the... fourth? fifth? set for a returning customer. I believe she curled some of them, as I suck at curls. After these I also sent her some lighter accent dreads.

Image
These are for the boy of the girl above - they make the cutest couple ever :)

Image

These I am working on at the moment, similar to the foxy dreads but shorter. Mixed textured dreads in dark blues and purples. These are good for using up hair that doesn't like to be sealed :)

Thanks for looking everyone :

Aw, Laura. I'm glad you found your mojo again, I love your dreads so much (kit number three on it's way to me!!) and everyone I've mentioned your dreads to that is familiar with your work always speaks very highly of it & you.

You're my go to & my recommendation to others.

You do super work. 100% amazingness. I cannot WAIT to get my blondes.....first ever dreads as a blonde - I'll be sure to send you some pictures :D
