Little show off! Turquoise blend SEs & Red Transitionals
Forum rules
If it is fake hair related it goes in here!
1) Nice clear pic of the hair- we are not particularly interested in cam whoring - you want to show yourself off - put it in the gallery for 'everything else'.
2) When commenting - please be more OT than "wow you are freakin' hot!" We all like to be told we are hot mamma's - but mention the hair too!
3) Please don't be horrified if people give you helpful criticism. If you give criticism, please do so respectfully.
4) If you would like to NOT hear criticism, please say so.
5) If you are specifically looking to refine your technique, please post it in the "Critique" section (under Advice & Know How) so we can help be extra picky.
6) The Show Off section is only for showing off hair, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

Little show off! Turquoise blend SEs & Red Transitionals
Hey hey! As usual, long time no post! Trying to get back into dread-making again!
I made the SEs for the winner of my "100 Likes Give-away" on Facebook.
40 SE sleek dreads, some solid black and some blended black and turquoise.
The boy is my fiancé, and those are about half half SE and DE black to red blended transitionals 55 in total I think. These took ages to make!
Enjoy!

Ah the loops on your SE are so neat looking! Mine never look that perfect. >_>
Also, I adore your transitionals! The colors in both sets are really pretty as well.

I find I get them nice and neat by roughing up the hair first with a normal hairbrush, kinda loosely back-combing to get the hair all messy. Then I smooth the hair near the tops and use my fine tooth back-combing comb to gently start off the dread. I just keep smoothing it while I back-comb until I'm about 1 - 2 inches down!
Seems to work!

Thanks
I'm really trying to kick-start my dreadie business in Sydney, so I thought it was time to stop being a stranger! It's so good to see the amazing hair everyone on here is making! So inspirational!
