I take most of my fashion cues from comics, go figure. I'm pretty sure I could wreck this thread's shit with pretty pictures and long lists, so I'll refrain. But, seriously, back issues are my McCall's. ♥

No problemo. I love that coat. It's such a shame Joseph has stage 4 cancer.

Wreck away! :) If you're worried about going overboard, you could do 5 pictures per post or something like that. The thread will bump up to the next page once it gets to 25 posts, so you won't have to worry about overloading the thread all in one spot.

BRINGING BACK SOME CONTENT TO THIS CUNTFEST

MERRY CHRISTMAS FUCKFACES.

The Haul: Images from Trish Sommerville's special Girl With The Dragon Tattoo collection for H&M. I have yet to hear from them whether they're going to pay me any royalties for basing an entire wardrobe off how I dress every goddamn day:

i have the weirdest inspirations ever: awesome 90s movies and tv, spank! style, 90s hip hop (music, style and culture), jem and the holograms (danse is my favourite character!), the craft (especially fairuza balk), lisa frank, the fly girls from in living color, rayanne graff from my so called life, the fresh prince of belair, and i'm pretty sure erykah badu is the most amazing woman, artist style icon ever!!

does anyone have any delicious purses they'd like to share? i tend to like to browse haute macabe, wear blacks and greys, skinny pants...so pretty much 50% f this thread is pure love...but purses i have the damnedest time with. i browse etsy now and again but its overwhelming, hoping for maybe some stores (online) or designers (not coach/high end) that i could look up for inspiration and love

The last bag I bought was from Religion Clothing, not ridiculously expensive but very good quality. I struggle with bags too, usually I end up scouring ebay or wistfully gazing over £200 leather bags from All Saints.

H&M Mens section. My large canvas tote and canvas backpack are both from there, and my most recent shoulder bag was from the H&M Trish Summerville collection. They're very good for basics, as are the mens sections of high street stores - for you this would be places like Target, Forever 21, Gap and Muji, for us UK people it's places like New Look and River Island. I also second the votes for Religion and AllSaints; I'm a great believer in paying for important pieces of your wardrobe, so I will fork out for a leather jacket or bag that I know I'll use regularly. You've just missed the best of the sale season unfortunately, but it's always worth looking for second hand stuff on eBay. I also quite like OAK, though they are a little pricey.

Madii is the shopping queen - I'm pretty much in agreement.

I'm increasingly finding it harder and harder to shop taller clothing mind you, I'm only 5ft 10, jeans are fine, as luckily topshop still continue to cater there, but long tops are a major hassle. :(

Yeah, I have the same issue. I steer clear from most tops now & choose dresses & longer vests. Higher waisted things help too.

thanks for the advice..I live in hicksville with no H&M (sigh..used to live next to one) target, forever 21, etc...its pretty lame. but i can at least look online. thanks! There are enough places that sell 'trendy' purses but I hate how the vinyl on them cracks so quickly, so I've decided to look for leather and think about embellishments myself

How cool is this!

This kind of things are inspiration for me too. I like 70's, 80's, and the 90's. Weird, bright colours, weird prints! And so on.
The track suits of Australian are a part of it, I collect the jackets. Right now, I have 6 of them.

Here are my favourite:

Beside this, 'dark' pictures, featuring gas masks, me gusta very much :3
