Yeah, I was Lorny. We have a new manager & assistant manager now though & they're both really great
A soundwave? Is it gonna be printed? If the customs label says it's worth more than £20 you might get customs fees, but AFAIK they just select ones at random to pay customs. *touches nearest wood* it's never happened to me.

Yeah, you can get a soundwave carved out of metal in a piece of jewellery. I'm going to get a plain dog tag thing for Ben with me saying "I love you". What a sap.

Makes a nice change to see sun in the uk! But shhhhh don't scare it away. I feel sick to my stomach today, our student teacher has an interview at our school and I am desperate for him to get the job! It is lovely to find someone you click with and has the same taste in bling
I think I might be more nervous than him!

Well I felt sick all day but he did it! Phew! I think I've been less nervous at interviews for me!
What has everyone got planned for the week? I am making hats like crazy for Whitby goth weekend, trading in the rifle club...and currently painting clay ladybirds, you know, as you do!

I have my lab report presentation tomorrow, which makes up for half of my grade. I'm absolutely bricking it as I have no idea whether my presentation is any good. Monique gave me some guidance as a fellow scientist, so that was pretty helpful. I just don't know if I've made the slides too basic, and whether my talking part is going to be jargon. I'm definitely stressing out.

Hey Admingal, thanks for the update regarding NPS
Can I ask for some clarification? It says I'm "technically not on the list", so does that mean I'm still not allowed to sell in A&P? I don't have anything yet, but I'm going to be doing a few pre-mades, not customs, so was wondering where everybody stands on the matter.

I'm ready for Goth Weekend. I have zero fundage but I am ready. The joy of being paid early month >_< Good thing the night we're going to over there is free entry! My friend is skint too, but he can borrow money.

I'd love to go to Goth weekend some time. I might try for next year if I can get it off work in time. Is it always the same weekend every year?
Had my presentation today, I think I did OK, although I missed out some vital information. Oh well, it's done now. So long as I pass, it's all good!

The October on is usually as close to Halloween as they can get, but the April one depends on when Easter is. Sometime it's the last week of March, or the first week of April or like this time, the last week.
The dates for the next one are always confirmed months in advance.

Yeah it is 1st weekend in November this year.
I am so stressed I could cry...packing stock took all evening, I've still got to continue rehearsing for two performances and somehow fit in two more full days at work! I only have 2 real lessons on Friday to teach...surely they could let me take Friday off? ...no? Bugger it!

I bought a 42" tv last night, and it has given me a mammoth headache. It had so many good reviews on the internet and said that it was HD, but it says nowt about HD on the box or in the manufacturer's leaflets, so I don't think it is. This is balls. I've had to put my 22" tv back on, cuz I can't handle it!

Just think, Mon, soon we'll have four months of 'long weekend'. Ugh, what on earth will I do with my time?!
I really wanted to colour my hair on impulse yesterday. Turned out though, that I'm not allowed red or copper hair for work (I called to make sure). Ugh, that place is turning into a nanny state. So Alexandria mentioned getting a wig for work, and doing whatever I want to my hair. Somehow, though, that seems really odd. I'm tempted, but it's very odd indeed.

I saw an ass man that works for us with lilac hair.....tempted to add blue & purple streaks to mine once I've sorted out my roots.
Personally Lauren, I'd do it the other way. Keep your silver hair & buy a copper wig. BUT why is copper not allowed? Ginger is copper.

Well, I was only going to make it red or copper just so I could change it. I would do it blue, or something easy to get back to white, just for a quickie. I like your idea though, like it very much indeed. I might sew me own weft onto a wig base, I only wear my hair one way, in a massive bunch with a silk scarf. I think I could get away with it!
Now comes the problem of finding the base. Ok, wasn't too hard with an Ebay search! Although I think it will be harder to find weft and loose hair in the same colour, and that I can style.
