Hello new thread. I am sewing tiny glass beads onto my shrug using the world's smallest needle. Got a wedding to go to on Saturday! I have never been to a wedding before so I'm looking forward to it. Sarah, you actually win the internet for suggesting I look at that Firetrap dress a while back, I ended up buying it :D

Yeaaah, just pissed off at my mum for basically moving out, leaving me with no food in the house and the phone and internet due to go off pretty much at any minute leaving me with absolutely no choice but to haul all my stuff to my dad's house, and all this done on the weekend I was away, getting back and finding the house practically empty was lotsa fun.

My mum's so good at this communication lark.

Ladies, I have started a blog. I decided that I was long overdue to begin sharing 20 years worth of alternative fashion/hair/makeup experience with the world. So here it is:

Enjoy!

Yay, I am home. Finally. Why do I never learn just how much work a full head off extenders actually is?

Agreed!

I don't have much to share with the shiny new thread because i'm beat. But Amy (Bomber), that sounds really shit. Hope you're ok. x

I'll get over it! It's just annoying because my dad's not doing great at the moment, he's had to close his business so he's pretty much broke apart from what his girlfriend makes which isn't a huge amount, so I'm going to have to contribute what little I can to the running of the house which probably means having to give up roller derby for a while because I can't afford the train fare until I get a full time job

But my mum's always been very good at not thinking about how her decisions might affect other people so I'm used to it.

I hope you'll be ok Amy, moving out with a car was hassle enough, never mind with trains and the lark.

Today has been ok, very tired and very much looking forward to the weekend, luckily nobody is currently home and won't be for a good hour, so I have some peace until then.

Phew!

Huzzah!

I've been up for hours, I'll be knackered by lunchtime. Still, I've got a lot of jobs done before work.

Lead story on the news is binge-drinking. That kind of footage, with people laid on pavements, turns my stomach.
What, that? It's a spade.

Morning all...

Not a lot planned for the weekend...going to a NCT nearly new sale tomorrow to snap up some bargains hopefully. Mum's doing OK. Feels like "a bag of shit" in her own words but that's to be expected.

I hope everyone is having a decent Friday. I have been off work sick for the last two days, have caught the lurgy. Hence why I have had time to start the blog I've been wanting to write for ages. Instalment #2 is now live. This one is 'Little Wicked's 10 Commandments of Fashion & Beauty'

http://littlewickedsworld.blogspot.co.u ... c1d7c67d3c

Next instalment will be my fashion & style timeline.

Y'know Mindi, there's a section on the forum to post your blog link? I followed last night, btw. I have one too, but rarely update it.

Hi all. I'm off for three days. I need sleep, to tidy up & do a food shop.

I saw Dani TWICE today and got a hug. I bet you're all jealous.

I enjoyed your blog Mindi. I don't know which one I nodded at most: the legs or cleavage, or the leggings are not outerwear.

Finally, I am back in from gymnastics. We were late arriving because one of the main routes was closed for the bloody queen. The coaches generally take badly to lateness for any reason but today, I just told them to take their disgruntlement directly to the top.

I am currently perusing bedroom furniture, as I plan to treat myself. Why os the ikea website so fricking difficult to navigate. I am likely to take my custom to Argos because their listings are easy to understand. Unless anyone has any other suggestions which don't cost the earth?

Oops! I didn't know that. I've now put my link in the blog section, thanks Sarah! And thanks for being my only follower at the moment!

Glad you enjoyed it Gracey! I'm trying to keep it quite lighthearted and humorous!

Tesco Direct are where I get a fair amount of my furniture from, Gracey - the few times I've ordered from Argos they seem to take an absolute age to deliver things. Tesco are quite reasonably priced, too.

Aye, Tesco. Asda do stuff too, but in general the stuff from Tesco seems to be better quality.

Ikea is really hard to navigate, last time I visited they asked me to fill in a survey & I told them just that.

We've just ordered a load of solid wood living room furniture from www.very.co.uk. They've got a sale on and it was pretty reasonable. Might be worth a look.

I've had a night of all my programmes. Shattered though so will be off to bed v soon. Hope everyone is ok.

Morning amy :D
I cant sleep either, im too excited!! Today is my hen do woop woop !!
We are setting off at 9 and we have outdoor laser quest at 12 followed by a night out in durham tonight. Then we come home tomorrow probably all shame faced at how pissy-arsed drunk we were

Ive not had a big drink since i lost weight so im not going to go mad, also my mam will be present so i don want her to see me too drunk. My best mate who broke her ankle is also coming so i want to keep my mental facilities about me a bit so i can make sure she is ok hobbling about on her crutches.

Whats everyone else up to today?
The weather is lovely here, i cant wait to set off and get started!
The show must go on. Inside my heart is breaking, my makeup may be flaking but my smile still stays on.
