I personally don't like to label myself as anything- I like lots of styles and lots of genres.

If I was forced I would say I was either steampunk or 40s/50s burlesque.

To be honest though I am equally happy in trendy clothes!

Hair wise I wear clip in colour flashes to enhance my dyed red hair. I also wear roving dreads that match my hair. I sometime wear synth backcombed falls.

I used to have several sets of dreads in my natural auburn but I am not that colour now so I sold them.

I love extensions but cannot wear them due to work, have had many in my time though.

I'm the type of girl who changes her style almost yearly. This year it's bright and baggy (I'm wearing a lot of baggy shirts and stuff) and a couple of years ago I was pretty punky/rockabilly.

I will say, I've always been a goth at heart, if I could afford to dress gothic all the time, I definitely would. I love the style of the clothes, and they suit me. I just can't afford clothes like that though, so I have to make do with what I have at the moment.

I don't really have a label, I don't think. I suppose lots of people probably refer to me as something.

At a push I would give myself the title Aging Technopunk. But I doubt whether anyone else would describe me as that.

Hmmm....a middle aged punk/goth in spirit, from an outsiders perspective a west coast leftist alternative/hippie/hipster. I've worn almost all black for 25 yrs but don't wear any make up or other goth accoutrements except on special occasions. I love costumes/cosplay of all kinds. I feel like all fashion is really a costume so have fun with it.

Though I wear black i have been dying my hair bright colors and cutting it myself(many times badly:)since I was 15 (42 now), I like all kinds of crazy hair. Wigs, loose extensions, dreads.

Life's short, wear what you want. Fuck what other people think:)

I constantly get referred to as an emo and I have literally NO idea why. I have long red hair, wear minimal makeup, don't wear any cliche goth-shop clobber... and I'm 26 ffs ;)

My catagory is 'comfortable'. I like skinny jeans and a lot of black. I no longer give a toss about fitting into a style or scene, and although I do like a certain 'look' I don't pigeonhole myself into it. I make/alter a lot of my clothes and accessories so I probably look like a complete shambles anyways

No labels. People pigeon-hole us enough as it is. We shouldn't do it to each other.

I am who I am & always have been.

I'll add some pics just to show you I mean I am who I am. I don't fit in to a "catagory" which I am SUPER happy about. It used to confuse the chavs.

This doesn't really count, I suppose as it was WGW: http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 6675_n.jpg
nephew's christening:http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 3141_n.jpg

Kids birthday party: http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 2744_n.jpg

People that don't know me usually class me a goth, someone once called me a colourful goth. I am not goth.

(edit met me know if you can't see them. That album is set to me only)

I've been called all sorts. Mosher, hippy, punk rocker, goff, minger & even called a gypsy once.

Kids at school used to sing (out of tune) Technohead "I want to be a hippy" LAME hahahaa!

I think I might be too old to fit into anyone's perceived categories anymore... I used to be called "goth" and "hippie" in school, but never really hung out with any of those "groups" because I was too much of the other to be cool enough for them. Their looosssss haha!
I had a bunch of raver friends too, but never was a raver. I went to one rave in Shasta City and decidedly was not in to that scene at ALL by 3:00am.

I really don't fit anywhere either. If I'm out, I cyber-Goth it up, but other than that, I've taken bits and pieces from all the styles I've enjoyed over the years and have come up with my own style :D Part rockabilly, goth, cyber, hipster and so on :)
My music tastes make it even harder to place me in a set subculture coz they're all over the shop :P

Embarrasingly my style is currently, and has been for while, 'whatever fits'.

That is all
The show must go on. Inside my heart is breaking, my makeup may be flaking but my smile still stays on.

As far as I am concerned my style is defined by the following:
Shit I like and would wear.
and
Everything else.
The first one is a considerably shorter list than the second.

I dress like I got dressed on acid in the dark which I have done far too many times.
So that's my style.

I have no clue...I've been many things over the years and have just kept little elements of each style I suppose.

I'm mostly a skater type of zombie person :D

At the minute I'm wearing a camo Ed Hardy vest top and black combats, and I have bright red and yellow looooong dreads

Sorry...

I'm a metal head I guess! Black, leather, band tops, bullet belts and camo all the way.
Though the kids at school think I'm a goff.
I'm not arsed about labels though, people can class me as what they like and I'm not going to get arsey about it :)

You're totally a hipster xD

I dressed extremely boring last night... Grendel tshirt, tripps and an old knit jacket. I looked very normal, but with orange hair. I think yesterday I got the biggest onslaught of hair comments, even though I only had it tied back in a ponytail because I was trying to be comfortable... Nothing bad though ;)

Carny Trash Gypsy Punk

Since I don't really understand or care for most fashion, I wear things I like in colors/fabrics/designs I find aesthetically pleasing and that fit my body. Mostly inspired by Victorian circus, retro culture/pin up and a healthy does of DIY. Also, I try to keep a distinct style for when I am performing since I don't really have 'proper costume', but I kind of like it better that way because I get to stay true to myself instead of selling a character. Being me is what I do best, after all.
